Salesian College, Siliguri Campus conducted a faculty animation and common meeting on Saturday, 19th August. The meeting was held at Auxilium School, New Chumta, with a purpose of ice breaking among the faculty members and the management, and also to discuss regarding the seven point criteria of NAAC.
The entire event was divided into two halves. The first half concentrated on ice breaking session, where the faculty members introduced themselves, interacted with each other and shared their experiences of the college. On the other hand, the second half concentrated on NAAC related activities, especially the seven point criteria of NAAC. Also an on-paper qualitative survey was done among the staff members regarding the teaching-learning experience.
On this occasion, the Principal of Salesian College, Fr. (Prof.) George Thadathil instructed and advised the staff regarding the NAAC guidelines. He also said that the college takes the NAAC guidelines very seriously and such meetings are not only fruitful for proper management and governance in the college, but also develops the teaching-learning experience among the teachers and students.
